C30 Power steering strength

Hi all,

I just wanted to know the experience of other Volvo owners (maybe specific to c30's) regarding power steering.

My C30 (2008 1.8) has heavier steering than any other car I've driven before. It's not overwhelmingly cumbersome, but noticeably more resistant than what I'm used to. Wondering whether it's exclusively my car, or a trait on ovlovs as a whole.

Has anyone else experienced something of the like?

Hi,

C30 Owner here, I would say that steering feel on these cars is on the softer/vague side. I have not heard anyone describe it as "in complete touch with the road". No effort required to steer, even in slow parking manouveres.

Have you checked fluid level anf/or pump connections?

Hope any fixes required are simple
