No. Worn discs can rub against the caliper, as the caliper attempts to take up the gap as the discs thin and the pads wear. But it's a deep scraping noise, not a clunk, and usually happens when cornering, and particularly during maneuvers such as reversing it becomes noticeable.
If it's a clunk occuring on taking up drive after braking, I'd bet it's either a wishbone or a wheel bearing, but a bearing would be exhibiting some more noises. |

Not sure if this is related:
If I reverse and touch the brake I get a "click". If I reverse again, no click. Drive forward and stop, a click. Go forward again, no click. ETC!
