Had my S40 alloys powder coated
Hi All,
First time posting, but been on the forum for a while. I've had my R-Design S40 D5 for 6 months now and had some nasty chips and scratches on the alloys. Finally got round to getting all 4 wheels repaired today and also had them powder coated to gunmetal grey. I think they look great and give that car a meaner look. I'm planning further works and other bits to the car and will share on the forum. Here is what the car looks like (even though she needs a good clean) DSC_0120 1.jpg Thanks |

They look good! I just finished detailing my car yesterday. Was a two day job! I need to pull by wheels off and do the inside. The faces are perfect but the inside faces are destroyed!

Thanks guys.
I've asked for a load of Meguiars bits for fathers day, so the rest of the car should match the nice wheels soon. |

Very nice! I've been looking at powder coating for mine, given a quote of £400 with 4 x nexen tyres. How does that compare?

That does sound good, especially with 4 x tyres. I got mine done for £240, but I did know the guy who did them so I got "mates, rates".
