WANTED: C30 1.6 D SE Windscreen
Hi all, the missus has a cracked windscreen on her C30 and prices are ridiculous! Can anyone recommend somewhere to supply and fit in the Margate/Thanet/Kent area at a reasonable price? Many thanks!

Stupid point but surely it's covered by the insurance?

It is, but with the excess she has to pay and then the premium increase I thought it might be a way to get it done reasonably without affecting her no claims...

Windscreens don't normally count as an insurance "claim" and have no impact on NCB. Yes, premium might increase slightly but it would be unusual to be much.
Prices to get windscreens replaced if you pay yourself are indeed eye watering - without going into the saga, I just had the V60 windscreen replaced by Volvo then reclaimed it from the insurance company, and suddenly the £90 excess I had to pay didn't seem at all unreasonable!! Good luck, anyway! David
