Default V50 limp mode

Hi to all, My V50 2007 started having a fault with going onto limp mode whenever it liked; I assumed it was limp mode as I couldn't set the cruise control, but no code came up on the dash, I took out the CEM and found a lot of human hair (about 50 pieces) on the various connections. I've cleaned out the hair and there seems to be no corrosion or burning of the contacts but it still slips onto Limp Mode whenever it pleases. could it be the CEM or what are you're thoughts? Thanks, Bob

Hi Bob,

It could literally be anything. You will need to have a diagnostic check ran on the car, ideally with Volvo Vida.
