Default lifting a V70 level

Hi folks, would it be safe to lift a v70 by putting it up on ramps and then jacking and putting it on axle stands at the back, the idea is to have it level for the next flush and level check?

Get your (suitable) axle stands under the four lifting post points (behind front wheels, in front of rear wheels) Use wooden blocks to get level.

For transmission level check, the car must be on level surface. The simpler way is to measure what comes out and refill the same (always through the dipstick hole) . Here's the lifting and jack stand points I use https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gtY-IZQgfw

I only have 1 pair of axle stands and one pair of ramps....

Hi, thats assuming its never been changed before and that the level was correct in the prior to me starting, this is why i want it up in the air a little and level so that i can do a proper Vida level on it, i am trying to rule out anything that could make it clunky, it will be a software check after that, no dipstick on mine

PS. whats the rough going rate for an indy charge to do a software check/update, i spose you get stitched even if it does not need one?

1 more quicky, is a pair of 2 ton stands ok or should i go higher?

2T is more than enough to get under the car - don't even need to extend them much, perhaps only 3-4 'clicks'. I recommend inspecting the welds on them if it's not a known brands - many inexpensive ones have poor welds.

Thanks, I will be on the ramps for the fronts and stands at the back, so may need some reasonable stand height?
As for the quality side, not sure, the stands are a mates, he lent me them ages ago, for a previous car i might add, they were brand new then he keeps telling me to keep hold of them so, what can i do?? lol Will just buy him some more

I think I'd go ramps at the back and stands at the front so I'd have a working hand brake to prevent any possibility of the car rolling.
