Thanks - if you have and still working, what would you want for switch and postage to Surrey? I'm also interested in the small bulb that lights up the switches in the dark if yours is still working.

Cheers,
LeeP

Hi mate, have you got the rear bumper shock absorbers? And if so what condition are they in? Also do you have the rear bumper reenforcing bar? Volvo part numbers

3536979

And

1358663

My rear bumper was a bit wonky and after taking it all apart the plates where the shock absorbers are rusted and bent with one of them broken, the bumper rail that attaches so them has a rusted out hole and the bolt that went through it has just torn through when removing the rear bumper

Thanks!

Not taken rear bumper off yet so don't know condition. Not sure if I will be able to get to breaker in current situation. I'll let you know as soon as I can

No problem! Thanks for speedy reply. There are some rear bumper shock absorbers on eBay I might just pull the trigger on those. I think I can probably repair the rail with a plate. I thought you might have this car accessible to you. The rear bumper is a real pain to get off so if it isn’t easy to get to etc then don’t worry

The car is only 500 yds from my house but it's in a friends yard. You can buy repair kits for the rear bumper. Skandix do one with instructions

Right I see. Yeah I have seen that repair kit. It’s just the postage is so high to get it over I thought I might be able to just get a used rail in with some shocks. My rail is also a bit caved in. The car must have taken a bump to the rear at so point. I was just investigating the slightly wonky trim and uncovered it all
