Well, laughs are on US. Although daughters car did start for us the other day, its battery is very low and it did not start today so it was a low battery after all. Pride cometh before a fall right enough!! Will give the wee beastie a shove tomorrow and run it up and back to the park a few times, should do the trick

Being a D4 you're probably doing it a favour not running it. All jokes aside, if the diesel will not get up to temp then best not run it at all. Put a few extra PSI in the tyres, put it ín Park or gear and take the handbrake off.

My bike sits in the garage for minimum three months with a charge in early March to start up, my S60 sits for 9 months of the year with a charge in October ready to go and a charge in May or June as a boost.

Bairn's car started, will keep running it round the block. Lesson learnt. Old BMW it seems will survive the end of days and still start!!
