Default V50 R Design Sport front coil springs

Hi Chaps,

I had my front shocks, top mounts and springs replaced by a reputable garage chain 18 months ago because the front suspension handled like wet paper. All was well afterwards except the front was sitting a bit high which I put down to new springs bedding in. Fast forward to my latest MOT and lots of funny noises in the front and the MOT tester tells me that the wrong springs have been fitted and they're rubbing on the bodywork (explains a lot).

I'll buy some new ones and fit them myself since I now have the space and the tools. Does anyone have a part number? I'm aware that the R Design Sport may have come with a front drop front factory so I'm keen to buy the exact right springs to not keep rubbing my strut towers to sh*t.

Cheers,

Alex

Hi Alex,

There's a number of springs for these cars. Post a pic of your build plate, it's in the sill of one of the front doors. That'll say which springs were installed from the factory.
