  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Is your D3 a 5 cylinder? Its a euro 5 engine. I would have thought that video would be the same as yours layout wise, but could be mistaken.

MAF sensor: Mass Air Flow sensor. So it measures the flow of the inducted air.

Yeah it's pretty much the same, the MAF looks identical

Give that a clean and see how you go.

So for clarity, there's 3 sensors (or 4 depending how you look at it) on these euro 5 diesel engines.

MAF/IAT sensor - Two sensors rolled into one, near the airbox
TMAP - On the intercooler
MAP - Near the intake manifold

I'm not sure if the euro 4 has a MAF and a separate IAT, or a combined sensor like the euro 5 has.
