For Sale: Volvo 850R Estate Auto - Grey

I have owned this vehicle for 16 years and it is such a good car. It's part of the family and has been loved.

EVERYTHING works. I am fastidious and cannot stand things that should work not doing so.

It is completely standard and has not been messed about with in any way apart from the front grill and I have the original. Usual R spec: Climate, 6 x CD changer in the boot, sunroof, elec mem front seats, cruise, self-levelling rear suspension, tow bar (occasional bike rack); boot jump seats; rear child booster seat in armrest.

In the last couple of years or so it has the PCV changed, new tyres (2k ago), new rear shocks (expensive); speedo mileometer cogs replaced (common fault); MAF; battery. All wear and tear items. I've got every piece of paperwork going back forever.

In the 16 years I have owned this car it has NEVER let me down. It has done 201,000 and drives as well as the day I bought it. The engine and gearbox are perfect and it pulls beautifully. It has been maintained regardless of cost and only Volvo parts have ever been used.

There is no rust anywhere. It would benefit from the front bumper/splitter being repainted. I have done it three times and it's due again. It is a 22 year old car and puts to shame modern cars. It regularly attracts nice comments.

You won't find a more loved car. If I could keep it I would but it has to go.

The car is based in Worcestershire and the mileage will increase marginally as it is in use. MoT'd till September.

It has to go so it is priced to sell at £2,750 ono
