Hi all,
I'm looking to join the ranks of XC90 ownership and have decided a 2009-2011 model would probably be what I'm after, although accept that mileage and care given contribute to condition and longevity; with the 200bhp engine in the 2010 models onwards being a consideration.
I've scoured the current crop available on autotrader, and living out in Essex there aren't any which take my fancy close by. There are a good few across London but each of these means several hours of getting trains, so I need to at least be enthusiastic before committing to this, and this is difficult with a large number of badly-written adverts from dealers which don't seem to want to make me interested in cars they have for sale.
Anything farther afield just increases the travelling time and cost, but I might start exploring a bit farther in the next few weeks. I would of course be happy to travel to look at one which ticks the boxes on condition and service history and therefore is a strong likelihood of me buying.

I'd be keen to hear from anyone thinking of selling a '90 in the near future.
Thanks
Kit

[QUOTE=Kitto;2637647 a large number of badly-written adverts from dealers which don't seem to want to make me interested in cars they have for sale.[/QUOTE]

I've seen loads of poorly written and inaccurate details in Volvo dealer's advertisements.
I've even written to Volvo UK (and Sweden) about these adverts, and also about photos not being available on many of the "Selekt" Volvo dealer websites.

They actually acknowledged my messages last year, but NO changes or differences in them so far.

It's as if they don't care - surely this can't be true!!!
