[QUOTE=Harley Dave;2639444]There's loads on ebay
I just googled the part number Cheers Dave[/QUOTE Would be nice to keep the money in the family. And I think I'd trust a club member to not sell me a duff one. I'd still have to wait to get it coded before I knownofnit would work too. It may come to an eBay job yet and then book for coding separately. Unless that's something that could be done using the VIDA set up I've got......now I'm thinking..... Here I was hopeful of a year of trouble free motoring.....fool. hahaha

Part number above didn't show up when given to a Volvo dealer..... Time to break out the screwdrivers again to remove the amp.

I just replaced my head set and have bypassed the amp. Mine is 2003. Would this be comapatible?

I don't know. Most likely not.
Basic plugs maybe, but it's the coding to get everything back .... Parking sensors, stereo, Bluetooth, alarm etc I've got it booked in for 'fixing' at a Volvo specialist breakers who have a wide selection of Amps to try, ornsonthey tell me. As the recommendation came from Jump Leads, who have been mentioned on here a few times as being good, I'm hoping the swap/fix will do away with the parasitic drain. Thanks for thinking of me though, Father Ted.
