Cool T3 Geartronic remapping

Hi guys,

Just got myself a 2017 T3 1.5 4cyl (VEA) with the auto Geartronic, and i'm slightly underwhelmed by the power output. It's the 150hp variant.

I've looked about but i think this engine and gearbox combo is slightly uncommon, so i'm not finding much, but anyone got any experience with remapping these?

Had a look for Polestar maps but nothing for this engine and box combo.

I thought this when I first got mine but then I found the mapping design. You don't get 150BHP in normal running. Also the throttle is mapped to be very lazy. Select Sport Mode and it all changes. The power is there and the throttle mapping is much sharper.

Now I know this I only have to push the gear lever to the left to engage Sport. It's not necessary to move the lever forwards and backwards (which engages manual selection). Just moving the lever to the left and not even moving the throttle will make it accelerate

I've got it booked in for a remap end of September, bringing it to 190hp apparently, which is much more acceptable for a 1.5 turbo!

I tried "sport" mode but it just holds onto gears way too long!
