Default Retrofitting a reversing Camera

Hi All,

Has anyone had a reversing camera fitted to a 2017 XC60? I’m considering adding one and don’t know whether it’s worth speaking with the dealer or looking at aftermarket options? I still want the parking sensors to display etc and to be fully integrated if possible.
Thanks

Thank you for that I take a look. I don’t suppose you know how you tell if the car has rear camera prep or not?
Thanks again

Yeh I took a look a the YouTube video with interest, but tried to find the VolvoTech kit afterwards but drew a complete blank.... the video is from 2016 so maybe it's no longer available ?

I bought a interface & camera from aliexpress (~£150) and fitted it pretty much using the YouTube video.
Hardest part is removing all the trim pieces to run the cable from rear camera to front footwell.
Camera comes on automatically when you select reverse & parking sensor image still appears at side of screen.

It would cost you a bit more, but I used secondhand parts off ebay, and Vdash to enable it, and I'm much happier with an OEM setup that can be controlled properly through the sensus menus, and can zoom onto the towbar if fitted. Total cost to me was about £120 for the parts, plus £80 for a Dice unit, plus £45ish for the vdash enable. Since then, I've used the same kit to fit the font camera, and front parking sensors, and the RTTI nav option.
