Default Exterior plastic trim cleaner / restorer

evening all...

I know it's not the most serious of problems (not even the most serious for my car), but I waxed it the other day and stupidly got white wax marks all over the dark grey plastic trim. What's the best stuff to clean these off and restore the trim to a nice even grey finish?

Isopropyl Alcohol to clean the wax off and then treat with Gtechniq C4 Trim Restorer. You won't need to do anything else to the trim for 18 months - 2 years other than regular car cleaning.

I have also used C4 and found it to be good, although I did not find it lasted as long as the previous poster. Subsequently I have been using linseed oil, sparingly. It does require re-application every three or four months but doesn’t take long to apply, is much cheaper than C4 and I always have some in the workshop anyway for woodworking uses.
