Default Orange side marker help!

Hi, new to the Volvo world with my 2015 model XC60! Love the way it looks and from research before purchasing i had noticed that previous models had the little orange LED in the headlight, but after 2015 none of them seem to have the nice orange side marker LED switched on even though the physical LED is still in the headlight unit. I took mine out the other day to do some investigations and ill try get the pics up.

Am i fighting a losing battle as ive tried to find anything online about this and i was hoping you knowing people could shine some light on this. Its obviously been turned off in the factory and i was wondering is there a way of getting it back on as i love that look of the US style orange side marker. Is there a program i can get? Is it a module change? Is there a bit of wiring i have to do?

The silvery bulb that you can see is the direction indicator.

The area of lens below it is the side marker that lights up orange - these were discontinued by Volvo from MY2014 (I think). Hence you might see these working on some facelift XC60's on a 62, 13, 63 and 14 plate but not later than that.

You might find some cars made in 2014 have the LED still but it is not operational, my XC60 (built May 2016) has the lens but no LED.
