I am actually fully aware of what a valve stem is in relation to an engine having rebuilt several and, of course, tyre valves do have stems.

Morning Bob12 , 45+ years in the motor trade twiddling spanners , large quantity of humour as a result . As an MOT tester I found Roosters image of us busy tearing a customers engine to pieces funny , the nurse comment is often heard & used between trade lads for a multitude of reasons .

Might just dismantle my first test tomorrow morning or better still , laugh at the idea while the customer panics due to my laughter . I hope neither of us are offended ( I'm not ) & can carry on as before reading , replying & laughing
