Service plan costs
Just been quoted from Endeavour North London
Year 4 service - £430.61 (major) Year 5 service - £289.61 (minor) Year 6 service - £430.61 (major) When I took out a plan for my older XC90 the prices were below at Watford Year 4 - £420.77 Year 5 - £240 Year 6 - £325.50 Seems to have gone up. Anyone who is buying a new car would do well to buy the £599 new car plan. |

Quick question for anyone who has an older Volvo
I've had two dealers in the Endeavour network tell me a cambelt replacement is recommended by Volvo at the earlier of 90K miles or 5 years, and 2 other dealers tell me it is 90K miles or 10 years. The cambelt adds almost £500 to the cost of the 5th year service. My 5 year old XC90 didn't have the cambelt replaced because the dealer had not put it in the service plan... seems to be down to the dealer? |

Just had my 3rd service today, the cost would have been £331,33 but I bought the £599 service with the car when new, so I'm around £300 in pocket and still another 2 service's to go, plus includes breakdown recovery.
What's not to like !

I’ve come from Audi and the servicing costs are much cheaper with Audi by comparison. And they’re every 2 years!🤮
First service with Audi was £149 at the 2 year point and the last one prior to chopping it was 320. Anybody used a non Volvo franchised garage? |

2 years or 18000 miles, whichever comes first. A lot of manufacturers have two intervals and the oil is a long life derivative. My oil meter was about half way down just before its service.

I thought the XC90 belts change is now 8 years. Can't recall the mileage but 120k seems to stick in my mind.
