Default How to remove passenger kick panel 131

Hi all,
I want to run some speaker wires from the speaker behind the parcel shelf down behind the passenger kick panel to the floor. I can’t work out how to remove the “cardboard” kick panel. Could someone given be some advice on how to remove the panel?
Thanks Phil

If the panel is in the original configuration, then it will be held in place by a metal strip beside the door. This strip is held in place using a type of coach nail, so to remove you just prise the strip away from the body towards the transmission tunnel direction, getting a pry tool between the body and the metal strip usually does the trick. The metal strip may be painted black making it more difficult to see.
