running rough
My car 2000 V 70 is running rough and I’m not sure why. With the car up to temp the computer is showing open loop and running like crap. If I unplug the MAF the car goes to closed loop and runs better but not great I have cleaned the MAF sensor no change. any thoughts ?

If you have a computer, what is the MAF airflow data at idle, 1k,2k,3k and 4k revs?

I don't know what this means.....
I think it has to do with the oxygen sensor and if I understand correctly, the car should be in closed loop status when the car is up to temp. If you have a computer, what is the MAF airflow data at idle, 1k,2k,3k and 4k revs? Not sure on this I will check when I get home tonight. |

Also I should add, at driving speed the car runs fine. It is at Idle where the problem shows itself.

Look for intake system leaks and vacuum leaks

Gave a closer look nothing seems off, vacuum lines seem to be ok.
Got a check engine light this time for cylinder misfires after clearing the code the car ran rougher. Here is the info from the scanner. The scale is not right, RPMS go from 800 to about 4000 then back to 800 Last edited by Cachris; Jul 16th, 2019 at 18:56. |
