Car went in to my local specialist yesterday, I had asked them to replace the intercooler based on what was recommended to me by a different garage when it was in for service. Before replacing the intercooler, they carried out a smoke test and I'm glad they did because the test showed that the intercooler is in fact not leaking; the boost leak is being caused by the seals on the resonator box and also one of the pipes that comes out of the air filter area. The repairs are being carried out next week, I'm not sure on the exact pipe which is leaking but I'll update this once I have had the work done with the part numbers.
