Default Plastic sump Bolts 2004 V70 D5

Strange question. Just undone the bolts holding the plastic sump cover on my V70 D5 (2004). 4 Bolts were 12mm socket and 2 13mm socket so what size should they be (now can't get 13mm back in so could be that PO has used wrong bolts) Thanks

Mine are a mixture, the two back ones are bigger than the rest, you get things like this on cars!
Are you trying to put it back in the right hole?

Default Plastic Sump Bolts

Have tried them in different positions including the 13mm at the back. Didn't seem to want to go and I was unwilling to really tighten them down. Will have a look at the 2 rear ones with the 13mm bolts over the next couple of days. Thanks for the info

The head doesn't matter , they can come with 10 mm , 12 mm or 13 mm heads .. the thread is 8mm ,A few rusty bolts have got replaced over the last 14 years no doubt .. ...

My 2005 S60 D5 had m8 flange bolts requiring a 10mm socket with the exception of one bolt (needing a 13mm socket) in the centre which is obviously as replacement.
