Hi mate good question there, for the price of the machine and quality of the materials I would be very surprised if it did deteriorate but obviously like any plate time and elements are always against us no matter what material it is be it plastic or metal.. but fir the price of what I should be charging and the price I do charge we cant really grumble

Hope this answered your question

Default Tax-exempt Volvo plates?

Hello

As my latest Volvo 164 is 1969 and it has raised-perspex letters on a black metal base plate only on the front, can you do this type for the cars back end at all (previous owner binned it, as he was told wrongly than all plates have to be yellow plastic now).
Interesting font too: the number 4 isn't joined between the vertical and sloping strokes: will take a pic if you think you can do one.

Hi mate,

I'm after is a set of plates with JUST the reg on, no border, no text at the bottom, no badges JUST the reg. Can you tell me if this is possible and road legal? And how much it would be for a pair delivered?

Cheers, Brem

Hi yes it uses a laminate face on an acrylic rear plate, or you even metal base plates if required

Thanks for info dazab but my letters are the raised moulded type that one used to see for sale seperately. I have a new black backing plate somewhere but on looking at the back of a plate on my Morris Minor see they are rivetted/melted onto it - something I can't do even if I had the letters. Are they available still?
I'm going to the Beaulieu autojumble on Saturday - might look out for some there, if someone has an odds-and-sods box.

Just to let everyone know that I was unaware that using Manufacturer logos was against the law and therefore cannot offer plates with any copyrighted logo on, I will approach the manufacturers to obtain permission but in the mean time cannot offer them for sale

However i can still make personalised show plates to meet you requirements

Many thanks
