Default Electronic handbrake reset procedure XC60

Hi
I dont have a Vida Dice set up . I need to change the rear dics and pads. I understand how to do all the process up to but not including the final reset

My understanding is that the process is to pump the footbrake up then operate the park brake on and off three times whilst holding your foot on the foot brake ..is this correct

That's virtually it. It's not that precise. Just pump the pedal a few times and you will feel it firm up and then operate the handbrake a few times to settle it back in.

Chris do you keep your foot on brake when operating the park brake during the procedure ?

I think I tried all options but I don't think it really matters.

The first time i reapplied the handbrake it whirred a little bit longer than usual as presumably the new pads moved back to the disc but after a couple of goes of operating the foot and handbrake randomly, everything seemed as normal.

It passed the MOT a couple of days later just fine.
