Default Power Window Won't Open All the Way...

Well, I FINALLY got around to replacing the DDM in our XC90... I managed to find a used part at a very reasonable price and it was form/fit/function identical. (couldn't check the Pt. No. as the old switch had the label removed).

The unit went into the XC without any drama and VOILA..!! We have central locking, adjustable door mirror and electric window controls... Whoo-hoo..!!

BUT... The window won't come all the way down...

I've tried removing the DDM fuse (and the PDM, just in case) and waiting 10 secs, I've held the window switch up for 10 secs too... No difference.

The window goes up to the top and stays there now (it was coming back down about 15mm at first). But it only comes about half way down...

I don't have a Vadis/Vida interface... Is there anyting I can do to 'reset' the window travel..?

The mechanicals haven't been touched... The motor/regulator/etc are all original and there is no stiffness or binding in the tracks, the window just won't come down past half way...

Any assistance very much appreciated. Thanks

Miti
