I agree with ^^^.

Do the timing belt, water pump, timing belt tensioner and idler. Also do the aux belt and aux belt tensioner.

The water pump is a bit of an awkward job tbh. You'll need to remove it by dropping it downwards. I was going to try to describe how to unbolt the engine mount and replace the bolt in another hole, but this video shows you all you need to know

I'd definitely use a cambelt locking tool - and don't remove the camshaft sprockets unless you have the Volvo camshaft setting tool https://www.skandix.de/en/spare-part...ining/1024650/

Don't ask me why I have one of these...

I also have the iPD timing belt changing tools - these make the belt change so much easier - the bar for taking the tension off the aux belt tensioner is fantastic. The cam locking tool is also very good

Default timingbelt kit and water pump

my garage quoted me 2 hours, upto 3 hours. ive decided to do mine myself, old pump is ok but imchanging it anyway, including aux belt tensioner, all genuine parts including volvo coolant, your car will last few good years yet, older models better than new cars
