I like that boot liner!

Today I took the car for its MOT and £200 later it passed yay! Some front anti roll bar thingies which has stopped the irritating knocking over bumps. While it was there I got the tyres swapped so now I have the wheels all facing the same way too.

Did a few minor jobs at the weekend and finally fitted the refurbished wheels

I'm satisfied that its going to be reliable and safe enough to be the daily driver, so at long last the S70's recommissioning has hit a major staging point. Still a lot of work to be done, but the majority of that will have to wait til next spring as wifey wants me to do some more work around the house...

Hej,
you also got a red 850 R, like mine? Lovely! I can understand the problem, also got plenty of time, but costs must be monitored too!

Investigated why the reversing lamps don't work on my S70. The bulbs are fine, and the wiring at the switch shows 12v so it looks like the switch - one ordered courtesy eBay.

Had my weekly run out to see/help my parents, and enjoyed the run back so much that I treated the car to a tankful of vPower
