Any pics or spec Tom? I'm in Hastings every few weeks normally, let me know what colour and I will keep an eye out!

The MOT history on that V50 looks alright, usual stuff.

Anyone else notice the offside brake calipers are a different colour to the nearside?

The pricing does seem optimistic, the car will be 14 years old after Christmas - I think I'd only want to pay £4k for it really.

Yes looks to have had a new caliper fitted, one rear light cluster is broken aswell.

£4k is realistically whats it worth.

Agree on £4k for that one.

Just had this pop up on Pistonheads. THey don't normally ever get advertised there but this one is old, high miles, low spec, but actually looks and sounds very well looked after and is for no money... Just noticed 'AWD', rather rare!

I did try and haggle the silver one a few months back, "we have a buyer coming this week" and "we have spent 1500 on parts alone" didn't want to budge, so I drove to Lincoln to get mine!!

Did you buy the one advertised of here and Gumtree?? If so it seemed a decent car going off the service history that it had.

"we've spent 1500.00 on parts"

That's their issue not the buyers!

I think it's worth traveling to get the right car, bearing in mind I'm bang in the center of the Midlands:

Went to Brum to get the Volvo - not far I know but pre-deposited the dealer over the phone and shot over there.

Went to North London to get the Twingo; Train, Tube, Overground Train, Drove it home on 'day insurance'.

Went to St.Albans to get the mother in-law a car, 2 x Trains, a Walk, drove it home.

Been to Heathrow too to get a car, private sale.

Back in 2011 I flew to Belfast to buy a car, 6hr ferry back to Liverpool then 4 hour drive back to London! It was the exact spec I wanted and in total there was probably only 6 of them for sale at the time. Had loads of photos sent to me, did as much checking as I could in advance and had the current owner take it to BMW for an inspection that I'd arranged at my own expense. Was quite an adventure, especially as the bank froze my account whilst I was travelling there and then me draining the battery just after I'd bought it!
