Hi, i have a clunking sound coming from my 2013 XC06 R'design nearside front drive shaft, suspected CV joint on the way out, trouble is there are non about my neck of the woods, except for 500 quids worth from Dealer so i am after a used drive shaft, then i can send it away to get recon'ed, any one got one please and if so how much?

You may be able to use a motor factors like euro car parts or even Halfords to locate a suitable aftermarket one would not rely on refurb unit unless doing it yourself to see hidden damage wear on components.

I have tried Europarts, trouble is that they will want the old drive shaft as there is non available on their shelves. I know of a company in the midlands who will recondition the old drive shaft, but once again that means taking it off and sending it away, if i can get my hands on an old one at least i can keep the XC60 going and not be off the road so to speak. Thanks for your input tho'.
