My last two cars were XF saloons.
The last was a 2014 V6 3.0l diesel Portfolio. Lovely car. Great to drive, but thirsty. That was probably down to my driving. However I didnt buy it economy!
Prior to that I had a 2012 2.2l diesel. Good car but always thought it would be better with more power. Hence the 3 litre.

I bought the V90. It is not as quick, but a lot more comfortable and stuffed full of goodies and gadgets. It is more suited to my recent retirement as we tow a caravan, which it does well.
I am more than happy with the Volvo, and will be until something goes wrong, then who knows?

Took one for a test drive but ended up getting an A6 due to various reasons but mainly because I needed a car very, very quickly. Jag garage finally called me back and accepted my offer when I was on my way to the Audi garage so lost out.

Worth buying just for the spinney round air vents.

Picked the Jaaag up today, drives really nicely. We were looking at the Merc E class too but preferred the look of the Jag. Didn’t want to be a four ring owner as they generally have bad reputation and around where we live they are littered everywhere. Likewise with the BMW 5 series, BMWs everywhere. Jag’s seem to be a bit rarer, as do volvos.
I would have liked the V6 but not many around especially in white and the wife really liked the white colour (to be honest so do I, but I also like the candy red)
