Hello, I currently have 2007 S80 and wondering is it possible to upgrade from this:

To this:

Do they share same internals? Has anyone done that?

Or you could do the above?

I was looking at doing the same as you, have the same cluster as you. Do not like the one in the video and part of it would not work.

From what I have read the cluster you are looking at would be plug and play, the mileage is recorded on another module. Would the replacement have to be from an auto to show the gear selected?

Someone will be along to confirm.

You understand that there's no upgrade in functionality with a switch like this one. It's just eye candy.
Mine is a 2012 Summum, so it's equipped with the lower pictured version from the beginning. I'm not sure, but I very much doubt they've fiddled with making two versions for manual vs. automatic versions.

Yes I know it's just eye candy, have seen a blue faced set of clocks from an r design.
