Me too, but hoping Volvotech will have a kit to retro fit a camera or sensors soon. They say they have a agreement with Volvo not to sell kits for any models under 2 years old.

Have to admit I've not really used it. it's so easy to park with the 360 cameras that it's not really necessary. I might start using it for the next few weeks and report back :-)

Just ordered the flaps and some running boards from ebay. hoping they're easy to fit!

It seems you have answered your own question:
"just more electrics to go wrong"

I've had my XC90 for just over a week now. Tried the 'self parking' for the first time today, for perpendicular parking (reversing into a parking bay, with cars on both sides).

The car managed to find the spot easily, and parked itself so effortlessly. I was amazed. Kids were shocked to see the steering wheel rotate on its own.

I'll definitely use it again. Parallel parking next time :-)

Decided to try using the pilot parking this weekend - managed zero successful attempts! I just couldn't find an opportunity to use it.

I remember when we were test driving, we managed to test without issue, but it meant that i was hunting around for a tight spot between two cars. This weekend, I was torn between testing the auto park in a tight space, or parking in a lovely parent and child space with loads of space either side!

I chose the lovely parent and child space.

Hopefully with a child on board

Can't have been at Tesco then - there are a woefully inadequate number given the size of the store!

Default S90 R Design

Just taken delivery on my new S90 R Design. It arrived a month later than expected but very pleased with. It has 4 sensors on the front bumper but they do not work. I just assumed that the car has this feature as the sensors are there - are they not working or are they dummy ones for appearance? The sat nav was supplied not working (fixed now) so maybe a fault?

Not a fault - you don’t have them.

If you didn’t tick the extras box the car won’t have them. The bumpers are made with the mounts in them in case you stipulated them as an option. They aren’t standard.

I have the front sensors but as others have said the 360 cameras are what I use . I would always want these now even if I had a different car and apart from that my wife wouldn't let me buy 1 without cams fitted.
