With my car having the R design badge, the AWD badge and the Polestar badge it was all looking a bit mess on the RHS rear. So I took them off. Big improvement. Still didn’t like the mini bling bits for the model and engine so took them off too. Now the back looks really clean with just the Volvo badge across the rear.
My last car was an XC90 Exec with no badges on the back and I liked that look.
You can still tell the car is an R design as the rear exhausts and the front air scoop give it away. Not bothered about the rest.
If you are not sure take a pic and photoshop out the badges.
They come off very easily and the marks polish out easily too.
Anyone else out there de-badged?

Yes I've always debadged my cars. Makes the car look a lot cleaner, easy to polish/wax/seal and avoids any symmetry issues!

I got the dealer to do it on PDI for my V90.

In terms of detailing, managed to get a full detail in on the OH's Mini but haven't had a chance to do the V90 yet.

It'll probably be wash with AG Pure Shampoo (new to try), clay, polish with GTechniq P1, seal with GTechniq C2v3 then top with Megs Last Touch. Tyres with GTechniq T1

Wander if they could be fitted to an XC60.. the offset is slightly less (47 vs 50.5) and also they are wider by an inch (8.5 vs 7.5..) I'll have to try to photoshop them on at least
They're a pain to clean though

Mostly dust and pollen covered as it’s not done many miles since last done back in March.

Not strictly in lockdown (Sweden) but I had a go on Friday. The birch pollen is heavy at the moment and the car had a light dusting before I was even finished, it'll rinse off in the next shower.

Multiple steps to give it the first deep clean since winter.:

Wheel cleaner, rinse, snow foam, rinse, hand wash, rinse, tar spot removal, snow foam, rinse, clay bar, hand wash, rinse, towel dry, wax.

I do like the alloy wheels. Don't think I've seen them in the UK. Then again there doesn't appear to be many V90's on the road other than Rdesign.

The wheels are 19" wheels found here. They were a zero extra cost option when I ordered the car. The tyres are still the factory fitted michelin pilot sport, unsure of dimensions off the top of my head. I have 18inch wheels in the normal silver alloy colour (different design entirely) for my winter wheels.

Thanks for that. I am getting a V90 CC and it is coming with 21inch wheels and tyres. Struggling to find many tyres at that size. Saw Michelins and hence wanted to check which size.
