Default Lockdown Detail - Let's see your efforts!!

Had a 17 plate SPA XC90 R Design before as a 6 month lease but after 2 Discovery 5 HSE Lux's and a Range Rover Sport I am back. This is the new family wagon, I have an i8 and a Mini Countryman SD too but this is now our family wagon. Bought from Paul Rigby Volvo in Birmingham. MY18 R Design D5, Air Suspension, Polestar upgrade, Family pack, Winter Pack, Xenium Pack, Carplay etc. Very pleased. The standard R Design 22" wheels were damaged when I collected and they kindly swapped them out for these 22" Tech 6 spoke 2 tones which I think look nicer and are 'different' to the norm. Anyhow, one side effect of Lockdown is that I managed a full 2 day detail. 4 stage clay, correct, polish, wax, sealant on the bodywork, similar on the interior and even took the wheels off to do the calipers. I use PoorBoys products, SSR / Black Hole / Nattys Black / Sealant & Maguiars Ultimate Fast Finish. Will get it GTechnic ceramic coated too when we are out of this which should help keep it nice and shiney. Anyhow, pleased to be back in the clan.

Let's see your efforts!!!

I cheated.

Had a maintenance detail done at home, by a guy that lives one road over

Original detail done at start of year:

I washed my car last week, that's twice in a year!

This is the time of year that my car gets covered in seagull sh*t.
They do bombing runs on anything that is shining.
Take it once a week to the jet wash to get rid of the muck and that’s it.

Those are two lovely XC90'S there.

I've got a MY17 S90 R-Design; washed, polished and waxed it the other day - wash and 2nd wax coat this week....

(But now covered in dust/pollen)

I hoovered out my o/h's V60 and cleaned and fed the leather. Looks as new inside, oh and I put the Summer tyres back on. As for the XC90 it is still sulking and filthy. I might at least clean the inside but that will be next week now....

Cheers pal, and cost 1/2 of what my RRS was costing me... So pleased with the car. Dont miss the extra litre on the engine, it is a 4x4 not a rocketship afterall. Everything works too which is a bonus, not like Land Rover products.....!!

Some lovely cars on this thread already.
