Lesson for us all.
I was writing metaphorically when I said I was `there`, meaning that I had brought more attention to my position than I expected.Sorry about that.
The dispute is still ongoing and although my stance is morally sound, the laws
governing breach of contract are not that sympathetic,so let`s wait and see.
My charge back credit card claim however should prevail.
Win or lose I will have caused some disruption to their organisation and they
certainly know about it.

I've no idea what the screenshot means. So they say that your "service" is now registered with Volvo UK.....does that mean the car had all its software updated; that Volvo parts and Volvo spec oil were used; and that you now have the 1 year's Volvo Assist that goes with an accredited service?

Mmmmm. After all the trouble the garage have caused I wouldn't trust them an inch. My hunch is that Volvo UK will not confirm that the service meets their specifications.

Time to ask Volvo UK.

Volvo UK now approved service and Volvo assistance is now ongoing.Preston Motor Park were on the brink of being taken to court at least 15 emails wriggling back and forth. When all they had to do was commuicate with Volvo. The registering of the service was retrospective I believe and therefore Lazarus like for Preston Motor Park.

Just speculation on my part, but what's the betting they had one of their volvo registered garages inform volvo they (the registered garage ) had carried out the service so you got it registered with volvo and the assist card.
I suspect a ploy to shut you up by giving you what they think you want.

Spent too much time around garages and car dealers, my eyes were opened to far too many dodges that Joe public would never suspect.

Paul.

Hi Paul and thanks for your reply. You suspect it,I suspect it.
I already have an enquiry into Volvo UK into who submitted the service for registration.
Things might get a bit slippery
