Outside temperature sensor - Page 2

If it was behind the mirror it wouldn't be outside air temp. It's behind the grille, attached to one of the cooling fan legs. It's the logical place to put it since the cooling fan requires fresh air.

A 2005 S40 outside temp sensor is in the passenger side mirror casing. A completely different car to the S40 covered by this forum.
