I am driving to the Alps twice this winter and to south of France in the summer and will be on Cross Climates so await my report on 30+ degrees. I suspect they'll be fine they are tested in both +30 and -30 degree temperatures (or so Michellin say).

When I decided to change the tires, I checked the tires profile and they were off. The tires started to have a wavy profile, the main reason why the rolling noise was there. Need proof? Buy 4 of these and travel to a hot region and you'll see. It's your money Another question: if they are so great and since they are summer tires, excel in rainy conditions and are snow certified with a price tag similar to summer tires (a clear all-in-1), why dont you find these tires fitted on cars in countries like Italy, Portugal, Spain, Greece....?

I think a reasonable conclusion is that allseasons are probably a good option for people living in milder climates (eg. UK..) as they cope well with occasional snow, have decent performance in wet yet don't disintegrate in you sub 30C summers. People don't buy dedicated winter/summer tires for marketing- but out of necessity.

Thanks all.
As an aside, RE my comment about the Passat, I believe my Haldex pump has failed so my AWD car is running in 2WD which explains the symptoms.

Had them (non-SUV version, 225R17) on a Skoda from late 2015, had them for 3 years and 24k miles. Still 5mm left when the car was sold Nov 2018.
Tiny hairline cracks/creases started to appear near tyre shoulder and top part of the sidewall at the end (Autumn 2018). Maybe due to "hot" summers? Survived driving through Met office red alert zone on 28th Feb 2018, from Edinburgh to Newcastle... Countless 4WD/AWD cars in the ditch or in snow drift piles along A1 on that day... Won't do that again in a FWD car, even with these tyres... Arrived Gosforth Park McDonolds in the evening, cleared snow off number plates (see attached photo). After another 20 min slow drive into NCL airport to pick up in-laws, number plates were completely covered again... In-laws never been so pleased by my effort...
