Default old amazon steering wheel wanted

Fitting a Flake wheel to my sons Amazon so looking for an old wheel to cut up so I can machine the boss to fit the new wheel,anyone have an old one kicking about,,,,,gave up on finding a after market boss

Hi - I had a similar need for awhile, and was told it would be very difficult to remove the center of the wheel and replace it in another one. Not impossible, I'm sure. In the end, what I decided to do was get another steering shaft with the correct splines, and graft it on to the original. If you could find a shaft with the correct splines, that might be an easier option.

In the end, I didn't have to do either, as I found a shaft from a P1800 which is exactly the same length and had the right splines on the bottom, and as it happened the splines on the other end fit the splines on the coupling usually found on the lower section of the steering shaft, so got another one of those, and now I have an intact shaft!

(P.S. I hope "steering shaft" is proper english. Here in Canada we would say steering rod. I've spent some time in the UK, and it is amazing how the - hopefully - right words seem to pop into my head as I'm typing)

Hi Loon,its the standard american 3 Bolts hole fitting,MOON Flake wheel
Centre hole,3 mounting holes and poss a locating hole
Hope that makes sense Cheers Andy..any info would be great,
PS looking for new brake flexi hoses ,,,any ideas

it should be the same as what you need.
i got them from simon who has replied to you on RnS. i have mentiond to him last week that you was looking for one before

Thanks mate thats looks like what I need,fitted a flake wheel to my Zephyr which is using Vauxhall carlton column and I did the cut down old wheel trick but that kit you have looks bang on Thanks again Andy
