Default T6 Revving high on start-up…

Is it normal for a 2.9 T6 XC90 (auto, 77k) to rev high on start-up, around 2000? It calms down after a bit.

I’ve only had this one since the weekend; so still getting used to it’s foible’s…!!!

It’s just had the Cam Belt Kit Service done, would that have anything to do with it?

Perfectly normal, mine does this when cold, it lasts about 2-3 minutes if left to idle, but if I drive away it stops sooner.

That’s reassuring, thanks. Just sounds a bit intense first thing in the morning.

Likewise mine does the same, to do with emissions or some such I believe.
