"Volvo Information centre"

This is mentioned in the brochure and on the Volvo website but can't find much about what it is/does...

The Information Centre displays time, ambient temperature, average speed, distance covered, current and average fuel consumption and the distance the remaining fuel will cover.

Is that on the screen where the sat nav would be? or is that blanked off and the info just shown on the dials?

(looking at getting a standard ES or r-design).

it's where the speedo and rev counter are. you can scroll through these items.

ok, so all that info is show on the dials.
So is there still a screen on the lower end models? If so what is on that screen?
The brochure isn't really that clear.

Don't they all have at least a 5" screen now to show stuff like audio information since the pod went?
