Default Skid pans?

Seeing as people like going to Power Engineering etc, would anyone be interested in a Skid Pan day? Would be good to see the skills of some of the Police on here.
Anyone know of some good pans in the South/Midlands/North/Scotland?

Howzabout here

http://www.driveandsurvive.com/drivi...ts-details.asp

Don't mind trying to organise if there are enough interest to get a decent discount rate.

Alternatively,

Bob,
What are the chances of actual certified (able?) VOC members being properly trained on the Police skid pan when it is a bit quiet and an appropriate contribution made to the Met Charity fund by those attending? Just an idea?

I'd definitely be up for that - might help me tame my 940's tail-happy behaviour on ice!!

Reminds me of the time I went sideways on the M25/26 during the Great Snow of 96 when we all got stuck on the M25.
Well actually, I didn't (get stuck that is) as I had a heavy load and got the weight directly over the rear wheels so I got home, but thousands didn't including several dozen 4X4s.

I had hoped to get some people onto the Met police skid pan when I was teaching on it, but training demands changed and now there is no time for 'guests'.

If anyone can organise such an event I would like to add my name to the list.
