  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Quick question, do i need to disconnect the battery to avoid airbag reset, manual says just switch off and wait 3 minutes?

Hmm,

Just checked with the dealer that did the software upgrade, all of the CAN upgrade software, including the CCM went in and there can't be any faults for the software to load, so this is definately following the software upgrade. Could it be software related?

you can if you want Steve, but if you have the kit to knock it off, do that just take the keys out of the ignition,on that note i have been lucky i have taken the climate out a few times without setting off the srs without disconecting the battery, just wait the time scale for everything to power down

Picked up the thermister today, its tiny, about the thickness of a human hair.

Never soldered anything so small, does anyon have any tips, do i completely de-solder the old one and remove the old solder using braid and pass the wires through the holes or do i just try and use the existing solder and do as best a job as i can.

Hope its the right one!

your on your own lol on that one soldering was never my strong point either.

No chance of using a persuader if need on anything this small!

Might invest in a lower wattage iron, mine is 40W and has quite a big tip.
