Default Part-Worns

Hi all,

Have read a few threads regarding tyre reccomendations and am still a little be-fuddled and confused.

Unfortunately, the good lady wife has recently been made redundant, and so am on a bit of a budget at present.

Does anyone have any experience of buying part-worns from ebay or anywhere else in the Widnes area of cheshire (or using mail order) I am looking to purchase 3 - 4 tyres for my recently purchased XC90. Size needed 235/60/18 103v, currently have Continentals on at the moment.

have seen a couple of Pirelli Zero part-worns reasonably priced on ebay. Has anyone experience of these?

hi
I think youll find this forum is a bit marmitey with regards part worns ( love em or hate em ) Ive used them in the past and theyve been far better than budget new, a friend of mine whos into 4x4s and funnily enough lives in runcorn, swears by these http://www.topgeartyres.co.uk/ not used them myself but Ill give them a try when I next need tyres, as for the pirellis , thats what came with my xc and I cant fault them .
