Been playing a little in the snow, not deep enough yet, but put in Pure turn off traction control is fun RWD Fun can't do that in an AWD lol
I must admit with winter tyres even in RWD it grips so well.

Sounds cool!
Mine's gone into the garage to get a few things fixed and I got a recall letter in the post today! If you've got an MY19 car I'm guessing you're going to get one soon for the rear tailgate struts like Haldex posted previously!! |

Could anyone point me in the direction of the letter please? Found it. I only picked up mine on saturday - would this have been fixed prior to delivery?

Hey mate,
Here's Haldex's post; https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=290882 Also, I remember the letter saying they're still working on replacement parts so not sure whether your car would have parts that are already working if they exist or not - Haldex is further down the line on that one than me! You've got a nice car! How you finding it? |

I'm really loving it!
I'm coming from a 14y old Skoda so it's quite a change! It's crazy fast for a such a big car and a whole new level of comfort. It's just a really nice place to be.

I have had the letter re struts a while now, did post it somewhere for Haldex to see, my struts are fine so far, but I have spayed Silicone lubricant everywhere including the boot hinges, just to stop it freezing, and seizing up, hopefully it will be ok till replacement parts are in stock.

Yeah quite a jump it is really a wolf in sheep clothing, so sedate quiet, and unnoticed, till you floor it

TBH even just in normal mode FWD only it is still like 300+BHP so no slouch by a long way, mine has Polestar so most of the additional power was to the engine, not sure it changed the battery power, though did feel a little better in electric mode only when pulling from a standstill.

I wish they would have a separate Polestar mode or change the Power mode to Polestar mode with the software flash so you have some indicator its installed.
Oh well! |
