Default 1.9D thermostat

I have reason to believe my thermostat is stuck open (I've not taken it out and tested it yet, but the car is not quite getting up to temperature at all, and it's sometimes been very slow in recent times to warm up). Just rung Marshall Volvo in Nottingham who say the genuine stats have been discontinued and they can't (or won't) supply one. Would have rung FRF but they are now closed for the weekend.

Are Circoli ones from Euro Car Parts just crap that I'll be taking out again in a week? If I'm prepared to wait I get a wider selection of brands online but I'm worried they are all much the same.

Weirdly I ordered a cheap one from Euro just to try my luck, it is listed as a Corcoli, came in an Eis branded box and now I've opened it the actual stat is branded Motorad which I believe is OE for Volvo... result, maybe!

And yes +1 for the Renault route for engine parts, Bristol Street Renault near us sell stuff surprisingly cheap for the 1.9

I have no idea if Motorad is Oem for Volvo but these Car's are Renault engined Mitsubishi Carisma's so a real mixed bag of bits straight off the production line.
Bought a Volvo timing belt once and it was a Gates belt with the Renault emblem and part number in a Volvo box.
Fyi a lot of the Renault stuff is Pierburg.
