Reduced Engine Performance but no relevant error codes
A bit of a mystery here …. 2014 T5 XC90 - warning on the dash of “ Reduced engine performance”. Ran a VIDA check and no relevant error codes coming up. Cleared all codes but the message came up on next drive but still nothing in VIDA.
The car is idling well but feels like it’s over revving a bit when hard accelerating. Like more revs than the amount of power that’s being delivered. Any ideas why VIDA wouldn’t pick this up? Not sure where to start to look for a root cause. |

dont just use vida as a code reader use it as a diagnostic tool and read of the cause of the indicated faults on the modules use live data to check individual components.

Hi Simmy, thanks for the reply. I don't fully understand what you mean. How do I know which module to diagnose if there is no fault showing? Can you explain a bit more about how I could use VIDA differently to help find out what is causing the error on the dash.
