Default Mileage and History

ONLY 231,063 just run in :-)

Just looking at history info she had a new head, cam, valves, and of course belts front and rear and overhauled injectors 20,000 miles ago and a clutch plus new timing belts again only 15,000 miles ago

Smile WELL Mixed Feelings

She has gone to a new home SWMBO is happy and Steve a lovely guy sounds like the sort of person who will look after her.

Mad as a brush though - doing a long trip to buy her - reminds me of our one way air ticket to Norwich to buy her..... I found the original sales receipt too which included £30 for a FULL tank of Fuel
.

hi david . got back home around midnight , she never missed a beat, put it in for mot last night the list is as follows .
fail..
a small hole in the outer sill (i welded a patch over it last night)
and exhaust rubber supports perished (should get some new ones today)
that is all .. well impressed.
so she is now getting some fresh oil ,antifreeze ,fuel filter and brake fluid change etc to keep her going strong. and some new tailgate gas struts to hold it open.

Talking Nice Volvo escapes from Bonnie Scotland

AWESOME - and thanks for the public feed back - i bet you have peed off a few people - enjoy her i did sadly life got in the way of my plans for her i am sure Jimbo is upset as we cant go out in her and blow away................SUFFOCATE the boy racers with the James Bond style smoke screen............i think that is easily fixed by adjusting the fuelling setting on the fuel pump looked like something i did not want to play with BUT you being a diesel mechanic should be a walk in the park..............look on the VW diesel tuning sites for info on how to do that.

glad all has gone well that car was quite something, even for a dt24! aye those boy racers.. coming right up on the tale gate our man here gears down and coats their car in blackness.. no more tailgating saxo!! every car should have such a feature.. i can see it coming in very handy for daily use.

lol . i dont think it will impress my next door neighbour though , as he lends me his caravan a couple of times a year.
i somehow think that it would not be loaned anymore if i brought it back covered in soot marks.
