Engine: V8: - Need help

Hello everyone!

Very new to Volvos! My wife has been in love with the XC90 for quite sometime. We looked at them a while back. Anyway, she drove one at that time and never forgot the feeling. I called my dealer to ask if they had any specials going on since the 07s are coming out. He told me they had 2 2005 brand new (400 + miles) with the V8s. The cars have premium package and the Versatility Package. They are asking $39000 for the car. I looked online but was not able to find one with the V8 for price comparison.

Does this sound like a decent deal?

Also, talking to a friend, He told me those cars are very unreliable. All the research I have found so far looks good, with just normal new car stuff (small problems of various origins but small) what is the consensus?

Seeing as the UK price is about £40000 I would say thats a steal!!
That $76000 to you...!!! A saving of $37000 !!!!
What deals you'll have in the US though I do not know...
