Question headlight issues

I bought a V40 3 months ago which is possibly the best car I have ever owned... (I may have been converted from VW's ), however, there are a few issues with it due to lack of servicing etc that I am slowly getting round to fixing....
The first one on the list is this, The drivers side headlight lens reflector is loose and as such the beam is aimed at the road about 2 feet in front of the car. Does anyone know if this is fixable or do I need to buy a new headlight unit?

Thanks.

Either your reflector is loose, or most probably a small plastic clip securing it to the headlight housing is broken.

You can get a headlight service kit PN 30621936 from Volvo or ebay

Yes - just as Gatos says.

It's quite a common problem on these, I'm afraid. When I had it on a V40 I owned a short time I was lucky and found a replacement light unit at my local scrappy, where they know me well...so either go that route, or the kit.

Go on - what are the other things on your list of problems? You'll find people on here very helpful!

I have two spare plastic clips in my goodies box, as I don't know when mine will break

It would seem to be quite a common problem then. Thanks guys. Most of the other problems are all extremely minor issues due to lack of servicing and not being looked after. Things such as replacing bulbs and the reversing light switch. All easily curable .
